Meet Subba Madireddy: Your Next Morrisville Town Council Member

I’m Subba Madireddy, a proud first-generation American who’s called Morrisville, NC, home for 15 years. My wife, Prema, and I have been married for over 20 years, raising two incredible children excelling at the University of North Carolina.

Born into a farming family in India, I learned the values of hard work, education, and community pride—values I brought to America in 2004. After living in New York and Illinois, my family found our forever home in Morrisville in 2009. With 25 years in Information Technology, I’ve driven innovation at global leaders like Cisco, IBM, Lenovo, and Truist Bank, where I currently serve as Vice President of Cloud Operations. As a serial entrepreneur, I’ve helped Fortune 500 companies succeed, and I’m ready to bring that same bold vision to Morrisville.

My commitment to Morrisville runs deep. As a Wexford Community HOA board member, I championed family engagement and strengthened our neighborhoods. For four years, I’ve served on a town advisory committee, including as chair, where I spearheaded a groundbreaking shuttle program to make Morrisville more connected and accessible, easing traffic congestion. I also launched a program to empower small and medium businesses, ensuring they know about and can access the town’s resources to grow and thrive, creating vibrant gathering spaces that reflect our community’s spirit.

During challenging times, I stepped up to support our community and beyond. I led efforts to provide critical medical resources, including establishing an oxygen plant for a rural hospital to help families, newborns, and mothers in need. I also coordinated mobile health services, bringing vital care to over 5,000 people. These experiences fuel my passion to serve Morrisville with heart and action.
